Our Cause
Cotton for a Change started with a simple goal in mind - To change the world in a positive way. Our founder was inspired to make a change when seeing the amount of poverty and environmental wrong-doings around the world. Therefore, he created Cotton for a Change.When you buy a shirt from Cotton for a Change, we will donate either an identical shirt to a child in need or will provide food for a child in need for 2 weeks. You choose..... Also, in an effort to better our environment $1 will be donated to a environmental NPO. Our donation sites include many third-world countries in the continents of Africa, Asia, Central America and South America.
At Cotton for a Change we take every possible measure to make sure that we are as environmentally and human friendly as possible. Here are just a few things we do:
- All products are made with 100% organic cotton or another highly-sustainable material.
- We use a low-impact, water-based dyeing process, therefore having virtually no negative impact on the environment
- All tags, business cards, invoices, etc. are printed on 100% recycled paper or post consumer waste.
- All products are manufactured with fair labor standards and are in accordance with UN international labor standards.
- All Donations made by Cotton for a Change will be held to the same standards as the products we sell.
Donations
Clothe - All clothing donations will be handed out personally by Cotton for a Change team members in multiple countries across the world.
Feed - All food donations will be made through our partner, Food 4 Africa, their website can be found here Food4Africa
Environmental Donation - All Environmental donations will be made through the Nature Conservancy.
